Internet Scams

Posted on September 26, 2025November 27, 2025 by tgoff

There are penalty instances of internet scams from texts to emails they exist everywhere. In personal experience I have seen many ups package text messages. They ask you a good amount of personal information to hack into your accounts and cards. The point is to get your personal information from a simple text. You can tell these are scams by checking if you have a package on the way, or even looking up the phone number. Typically businesses have small identifiers and not long phone numbers.

I’ve gotten many text message scams! The most recent one was for an overdue toll bill from a state I’ve never driven through. If you’re unsure, you should always google the message and see if others have reported it.

I agree with googling the number and seeing.
